Film Poster Analysis

                                                          I believe Blade Runner is a Science-Fiction movie. Science-Fiction movies tend to be associated with futuristic settings along with story-lines about saving the world from an out of world creature. This matches up with this poster due to the serious facial expressions, setting and props that are displayed the iconography of the gun, and flying above them seems to be an aircraft. I think the story line of this film has something to do with robots trying to destroy the world and the character Harrison Ford plays is in a chase with the robot woman also shown on the poster, hence the name 'Blade Runner'. The tagline 'man has made his match..now it's his problem' further conveys the idea that some sort of robotic humans are trying to take control of the world. The light around Harrison Ford's character could suggest his role in the movie of being the protagonist (the hero) whereas the female is shrouded in d

1) Find a distinctive   still image   and write an analysis of the mise-en-scene. Use each of the aspects you've learned in the lesson The character is shirtless with what looks likes blood on his body.
