1) Research the   BBFC  in more detail: what is the institution responsible for? How is it funded? What link does it have to government? This   history of the BBFC page   may help. The story is of a young 16 year old boy who comes from an Asian background and traditional family. Javen tries to disobey his fathers orders to find a good sensible job and have an arranged marriage. However, Javen has other plans when he discovers Bruce Springsteen who inspired him to continue writing. 2) What was the audience reaction to the film?
